Block Lock installation kit for straight walls.
Block Lock is a very simple system for building walls with glass blocks. The system consists of the application of PVC reinforcing profile between the glass blocks and joining them using special glue. You will build the walls yourself. Easily, quickly and cleanly!
Please note kit is enough to do 25 Full size 190 x 190 x 80 mm blocks only.
Maximum panel size recommended when constructing with Block Lock Kit for internal use only up to 9m². (Vertical dimension not to exceed 3m).
Glass block installation tips:
Glass block walls are self supporting, but not load bearing.
For best integral strength, glass blocks should be installed into a four sided pre-prepared opening. This opening can be timber, brick, steel, concrete or block work.
Glass blocks expand and contract with temperature change.
Glass blocks should not be installed when the surrounding temperature is 5°C and falling or 30°C and rising.
Openings must be square and perpendicular and made to suit glass block modules. Glass blocks cannot be cut like masonry bricks or tiles.
